RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES, and LIMITS of AUTHORITY
Key Responsibilities and Accountability
In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined below, the person filling the role will be required to perform other duties assigned by the Manager from time to time.
1. To develop and maintain our products by implementing new functionalities, repairing faults or producing patches on request using C# coding standards and Infor development processes.
2. Implement new functions according to the use cases documentation written by BA.
3. Investigate and repair reported product faults as assigned by Manager.
4. Investigate and develop patches for reported product faults / enhancement requests as assigned by Manager.
5. Carry out Unit Testing and incorporate it into the daily build.
6. To ensure all changes are updated and documented in the appropriate source repository.
In all cases, such tasks are to be completed as per agreed schedules, to a high quality, and conformant with prevailing development standards and practices.
In carrying out all of the above, the person filling the role shall at all times act in accordance with the company’s business strategy and Quality Policy, and in compliance with all corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and other requirements as defined in the company’s Business Objectives, Policies and Procedures documents (BOPPs).
Skills and Experience Required
At least 2 years experience of developing software using object-oriented languages,
Good understanding of .Net Framework, at least one year experience on .Net(C#) projects.
Experience of XML, WebService and other integration techniques.
Good understanding of UML.
Experience of MS-SQL server or Oracle advantageous
Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) Web Services
Experience of Security and network programming
Good understanding of software development process
Good time management & ability to work/complete to schedule.
Organised, thorough and meticulous.
Able to work effectively in a team environment
Good communication skills – verbal and written
Self-motivated to achieve set targets
Demonstrate a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving and development work
Good multi-tasking skills.
Adaptable to changing technologies and development environments
Demonstrate a pro-active and innovative approach to finding solutions and completing tasks
